Aug. 7, 2009 - We had a very positive and actually giggly meeting to begin with. There were 9 people in attendance and we each shared 2 positive things in our life with the other members. Antar brought Mr. Machine with him - a circa 1952 mechanical robot - that happily walked down the table greeting everyone. Needless to say, this put a positive note to the balance of the meeting that consisted of excellent ideas for our target member, George, who is a Repaint Specialist.

August 14, 2009 - Windy presented a theme for our meeting of the Golden Nuggets. She pulled out a Bumble Ball, turned it on and placed it on the table. The others sitting around the table were amused by this colorful, bumpy ball jumping along on the table. Windy explained that there are times her focus is off... and her head is much like that ball - jumping uncontrollably in any which direction it seemed fit at the time.

The nugget that we came out of the meeting with was this. Organization. Antar explained the ABC System of organizing our workload. We all discussed our current means of organizing which consisted of everything from setting up folders in our email programs, to full-fledged folders and tickers, to copious amounts of very colorful post-its. We all agreed that, in order to keep our brains from jumping around like the Bumble Ball and juggling everything we had to do, we needed to organize our workload. This helps us make better use of our time and provides a better quality service for our customers.
